It’s International Women’s Day today!
Celebrate by:
- checking out our wall of women in person at Bridgwater library which will be on display until the 12th March.
- visiting our International Women’s Day – Digital Display on our website.
- find us on Pinterest too where we have an International Women’s Day board and links to further information.
The display was put together from nominations from individuals and community groups of women who’d inspired or made a difference. We have famous women, historical women, positive female role models from children’s literature and local women making a difference in their community.
All of us at Bridgwater & Taunton Unite Community would like to thank Sarah Shaw and her family for their valuable time and hard work.
A big thank you to Andy Mitchell, Stuart Lloyd and all of the other members who lent a hand too!

Bridgwater and Taunton Unite Community celebrate International Women’s Day with two brilliant displays in the foyer of Bridgwater library.
